Boho Chic scrapbooking layout

During 2018 I haven’t devoted myself to as much scrapbooking as I use to. It has been so much else that takes my time. But last weekend, HighCoastScrap had their traditionally Christmas Scrapbooking Day. I attended and it was really fun, both to meet friends and to scrapbooking. During the day I made a number of scrapbooking layouts.

Before the scrapbooking day I checked if there were any funny scrapbooking challenges around right now in the scrapbooking world. During November 2018 Of the Rails Scrapbooking have a challenge with a pretty mood board. The theme for the challenge is Boho Chic, check out their blog to see the beautiful inspiration image.

The challenge was not easy, but this became my contribution to the challenge, a Boho Chic Scrapbooking layout.

The photo is on Nova and the girlfriend of my best friend’s eldest son. We met last winter and her outfit had such a nice retro look. She matched perfectly our oldest snowmobile, an Ockelbo 6000. I took some pictures with her on the snowmobile that could have been commercials from the 70’s. Here you can see another picture of her on the snowmobile.

I didn’t get a perfect boho look on my LO but I think the colors are perfect with the inspiration image. The layer-on-layer papers also feels as a boho element.

Instead of batik boho patterns I used watercolors on the background.

Under 2018 har jag inte ägnat mig åt så mycket scrapbooking som tidigare. Det har varit så mycket annat som tagit min tid. Men förra helgen hade HighCoastScrap sin traditionsenliga julpysseldag. Jag var med och det var verkligen roligt, både att träffa pysselkompisar och att scrappa. Under dagen gjorde jag ett antal scrapbookinglayouter.

Inför pysselträffen hade jag kollat om det fanns några roliga scrapbookingutmaningar runt om i scrapvärlden. Hos Of the Rails Scrapbooking har de under november 2018 en utmaning där man ska inspireras av en mood board. Temat för utmaningen är Boho Chic, kika in hos dem för att se den fina inspirationsbilden.

Utmaningen var inte alldeles lätt men så här blev mitt bidrag till utmaningen, en Boho Chic Scrapbooking layout.
