One factor that I like about England, is their history, and as we stood on the beach at the island of St. Micaels Mount and saw the old stone road that disappeared into the water towards the island, I felt the pulse of history. When it’s low tide, one can walk out to the island but otherwise the road is flooded, I could not help but wonder who built this road, how was life on an island at this time etc.
On this layout, which is one of my DT creations for Hobbyworld, I used a photo where Sally is sitting on the beach with St. Micaels Mount in the background.
