St Micaels Mount – Layout

En faktor som gör att jag gillar England är dess historia och när vi stod på stranden vid ön St Micaels Mount och såg den gamla stenvägen som försvann ner i vattnet i riktning mot ön så kände jag historiens vingslag. När det är ebb kan man ta sig torrskodd ut till ön men annars är vägen översvämmad, jag kunde inte låta bli att fundera över vilka som byggt denna väg, hur såg livet ut på den tiden, hur var livet på en ö på denna tid osv.

På denna layout, som är ett av mina DT-alster för Hobbyworld, använde jag ett foto där Sally sitter på stranden med St Micaels Mount i bakgrunden.

Layouten fick ett resetema med material från Pink Paislee’s serie Atlas.

Jag blev så lycklig i går kväll när jag upptäckte att jag vunnit två scrapkit hos Scrapafrica med det det första bidrag jag någonsin medverkat med. Du kan se hur det ser ut här, scrolla längst ner i inlägget så ser du mitt bidrag.

One factor that I like about England, is their history, and as we stood on the beach at the island of St. Micaels Mount and saw the old stone road that disappeared into the water towards the island, I felt the pulse of history. When it’s low tide, one can walk out to the island but otherwise the road is flooded, I could not help but wonder who built this road, how was life on an island at this time etc.

On this layout, which is one of my DT creations for Hobbyworld, I used a photo where Sally is sitting on the beach with St. Micaels Mount in the background.
