My niece and her boyfriend graduated this June, they had the celebration together and they are also planning to move in together as soon as they find a suitable apartment. They therefore wanted different things that you need to start a new home, preferably in the colors blue, gray, white and black. My thought was that they also need something to hang on the walls and made two paintings in mixed media with a slightly fantasy feeling. Today I show the paintings at Hobbyworld.
The youngsters were each given a painting and the guy got the one with a hot air balloon.
This canvas got is a small quote that says “Let your dreams take flight”.
The canvas with a castle got my niece.
On her canvas it says “Do not wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect.”
Both the hot air balloon and the castle are cut out with the Cameo in black cardstock that I attached to the canvas with Mod Podge.
The paintings were given extra depth with flowers and little else in a corner on each painting.
