It’s fun to mess with paint and before I painted some paintings in oil, I will probably do some more paintings with oil paint some day, but right now I have switched to acrylic paint. Smudge with acrylic paint are easier because the paint dries faster and smells much less. In addition, I realized that all paintings do not need to have any special subjects, just colors in different combinations is quite enough to be decorative and beautiful.
These two paintings have got thick layers of acrylic paint in various shades of blue and gray, the youngest son will take with them to him to his romm when the next semester starts so he gets something to decorate the walls with.
The thick layer of paint makes you get the feeling that it is oil paint.
