Fermented herring

This weekend has been busy. Friday evening we had an office party that started with karting, Saturday night we were at a crayfish party with good friends and today it was fermented herring in my parents’ house. This is what a really good “Surströmmingsklämma” looks out.

A “surströmmingsklämma” consists of flat bread, butter, potatoes, fermented herring, onions and sour cream. Some places even on tomatoes. Instead of plain chopped red onion I mad red onion marmalade, it is a bit sweet and it fits very well with the salty herring.

Sally was as usual busy with swimming and playing in the water, when she had an eye so that nothing fell off the table when we sat down and ate.

My little darling lady.

She has much love to run.
